Material Girl

We had to design a toy and its packaging for my 3D Design class last semester. I decided to do an updated take on a paper doll, and used four different types of paper, transparency sheets, felt-tipped marker, colored pencils, pins and clay.

The packaging says, "Living in a material world isn't easy, so Material Girl needs your help getting ready! Choose an outfit for Material Girl so she can look her best! Shop for more styles at www.materialgirl.com."

It's kinda cheesy, but I liked how it turned out.

Booook

I made a book for my Image & Color class at Ringling. It's based on Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and uses personal photography, gel medium transfer, silkscreen and handwritten type.

I somehow managed to forget to photograph some of the spreads after I assembled the book.........gah, why do I even try? so I also added the digital versions of the spreads.
