Your eyes must do some raining if you are ever going to grow

Photos by Chadwick Tyler.

Well, I just finished my last final, but then had to walk home in the rain with no umbrella. And unfortunately soaking wet feet is enough to dampen my spirits today..especially since Olivia's moving out in a few hours. I hate watching her things pile up on the floor and as soon as those bed sheets come off, things get serious. Eh, happy/sad, wishing this rain would stop. At least it's supposed to be a beautiful weekend..

I could use a pick-me-up.

My friend's Bengal kitten, Hobbes.

China Cat Sunflower

Lily Donaldson, shot by Camilla Akrans, from foto_decadent.

Look for a while at the China Cat sunflower,
Proud walking jingle in the midnight sun.
Copperdome bodhi drip a silver kimono,
Like a crazy quilt stargown through a dream night wind.

Crazy cat peekin' through a lace bandanna,
Like a one-eyed Cheshire, like a diamond-eye jack.
A leaf of all colors plays a golden-string fiddle,
To a double-E waterfall over my back.

Comic book colors on a violin river Cryin' Leonardo,
Words from out a silk trombone.
I rang a silent bell, beneath a shower of pearls,
In the eagle-winged palace of the Queen Chinee.

Black Rock

Photos taken Easter weekend in Ogunquit, Maine.

I absolutely love going to my friend Olivia's house in Maine. The beach is beautiful, black rocks, deep blue water..and trees everywhere. Just a really relaxing town that apparently turns into a crazy tourist hot spot in the summer..I'm excited to see what that's like.

I finished classes yesterday, so now I just have a few finals left. It feels good to sleep in and not worry about turning in my next assignment. Looking forward to feeling the weather warm up and seeing the college crowd slowly start to disperse..it'll be nice to have this place to myself :)

Also, found out this weekend I was accepted to Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL as a graphic design major..craaaazy..I'm so excited!

Monty Python Rabbit

Some pretty artwork, from various places on the internet.

Currently sitting on the couch in Olivia's living room in Ogunquit, Maine. It's very peaceful up here, and I love the small-town vibe. Some times I forget how nice it feels to sit in silence. While I love the activity and character of Boston, it's hard to truly feel alone when someone's car speakers' bass is rattling my bedroom windows at 4 in the morning four floors down..not to mention the little couple that searches for bottles in the dumpsters outside our apartment every morning without fail at about 6..Early bird gets the worm I guess...?

Excited to search for easter eggs tomorrow, and eat some of Olivia's dad's yummy homemade food..mmm Easter :)

I'm not going back

Some photos from the weekend. I have some pretty ridiculous friends..

So Olivia and I went to our Springfest last night to see Jimmy Eat World at about 9:20, the show started at 7:30, but we just wanted to see Jimmy. We got there and they told me I couldn't have my camera, so I had to turn around and walk back to my place and drop it off. We came back and the entrance we were going in before was closed, and they told us we had to go in through the main lobby. Off to the main lobby, which was packed with metal detectors and cops, and I was quickly ordered into a line where I was told to take off my coat and bag, which they proceeded to search down to every pocket, even feeling along the lining of my pocketless jacket. Of course I went off in the metal detector, and even after I pointed out the enormous metal buckles on my jumper, they made me stand to the side and get the metal wand. Finally, they tell me I can go. I walk five feet before someone else asks for our ID. As we're getting them out, Olivia asks where we pick up the tickets, since she was told it was at the door, and they say we had to come early and that it's just too bad for us. Mind you this is Northeastern's Springfest, we are Northeastern students, had purchased tickets, and were the only ones not tripping down stairs in our wastedness..but alas, we had no other option but to leave..Eh, sucks.

Why do people need to be so lame sometimes? I just wanted to hear some music, jeez!

At least today is absolutely beautiful out..and a nice breeze is coming through the window..
