Lightning

Pictures from Google.

One of my favorite Disney movies when I was younger was "Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken," which is based on a true story about a girl during the 1920s -30s who becomes a professional horse diver. The sport was popular during the time in and around Atlantic City, but ended because it was thought to be cruel towards the horses. Anyway, the girl (in the movie and in real life) hits the water badly on one jump and goes permanently blind, but is able to teach herself to continue to dive. Then she falls in love and blahdy blahdy blah..I don't know, I've just always loved it. I think if I had been born during that time, I would probably want to run away and be a horse diver too. It's like the circus, but you get to fly off the end of a platform and free fall into a pool of water in a cute little '20s costume while on horseback..sounds pretty epic to me.
